The NovaLash® lash extensions can be worn throughout the year, using Platinum Bond Adhesive, with minimal monthly maintenance. After the initial full set application, touch-ups are recommended to refill any lashes that have worn out. The growth cycle of your natural lashes should be followed every four weeks to maintain a full appearance of your lashes.

Typically, mascara is not needed with lash extensions. Mascara should only be used when you are almost ready for a touch-up. Using water-soluble mascara is acceptable; however, too much mascara may shorten the lifespan of the eyelashes. Waterproof mascara should not be used since it will dissolve the bond between the lashes and the product. NovaLash® glycol and carbonate-free mascara are exclusively designed with extensions without interfering with the adhesive.

No, lash extensions do not harm natural lashes when applied correctly. With NovaLash’s application technique, natural lashes can grow and thrive with extensions. Several “separation” steps are required for this technique during the application process to ensure that each lash extension will be attached to a single natural lash to prevent interruption of the lash growth cycle.

It would be best if you conditioned your extensions every night to ensure they last as long as possible. With NovaLash®’s nighttime conditioning/cleansing pads, you can thoroughly cleanse your lashes and remove any makeup or debris while moisturizing them to keep them flexible. It is also recommended to use a lash wand to comb the lashes to remove tangles. You should never leave a hair salon without top-of-the-line products for your hair as well as your lashes!
