What is the ZO® Retinol Stim Peel (level2) And Its Advantages

Chemical Peels have always been the solution for smoother and younger skin. But luckily, other peels can help you redefine your skin, like the ZO® Retinol Stim Peel. Today, Rejuvenate Wellness and MedSpa will help you discover what this Peel can do and benefit you.

Check out this blog post to understand how it works fully and if ZO® Retinol Stim Peel is the proper method.

ZO® Retinol Stim Peel

At Rejuvenate Wellness and MedSpa, The ZO® Retinol Stimulator Peel is the newest Peel from Dr. Zein Obagi and ZO® Skincare. With this Peel, you won’t have to wait long for your skin to heal, and you’ll be amazed by the results.

This treatment is ideal if you have fine lines and wrinkles, large pores, sun damage, or other skincare problems. The ZO® Retinol Stimulator peel works well on any type or color of skin, and most people will feel:

  • Softening and reviving sun-damaged skin
  •  Increasing skin tolerance
  •  Improving the look of age spots or freckles
  • Helping with the look of hyperpigmentation
  • Softening fine lines and wrinkles
  • Stimulating collagen production
  • Exfoliating the skin.

This 3-Step Stimulation Peel improves the skin’s health by exfoliating, cleaning, and stimulating the cells in the deeper layers of the skin.

It is a very effective treatment for many signs of aging skin, such as sun damage, dark spots, melasma, fine lines, uneven texture, large pores, dullness, and acne.

Step 1

The Peel is the first step in the process. The Peel is made to get rid of the skin’s top layer. Some of the ingredients are salicylic acid (17%), trichloroacetic acid (10%), lactic acid (5%), saponins (which help reduce inflammation), and glycerin (which keeps the skin moist).

Step 2

The second step is to put the Stimulating 6% Retinol Creme on the skin. The cream helps cells work better at a deeper level of the skin. The results include stimulating collagen, making the skin firmer, and reducing wrinkles.

Step 3

The last step is the Post-Procedure Skin Relief Calming Creme. This step with the cream lessens the redness and irritation caused by the first two steps. I

t also helps the skin get back to its average level of moisture. Again, it would help if you brought the cream home and used it twice a day after your treatment in the clinic.

Take note that peels can be done on the hands, chest, neck, arms, and legs. Even after just one Peel, the results are glowing, and the skin is smoother, tighter, and more radiant.

But you might need 4-6 peels in a row to get the best results. About six weeks before this Peel, use the ZO® homecare program. Peeling starts three days after the Peel and lasts for five days.

Not Your Ordinary Peel

This peel-type treatment is different from your ordinary Peel. It is the only Peel with more than one use and is made to give longer-lasting treatment benefits.

It evens the skin’s texture by combining exfoliants, a concentration of retinol, and multi-action agents that stimulate collagen and restore moisture balance.

This makes the skin look softer, smoother, and tighter. It’s also an innovative treatment that can only be used in a doctor’s office. It is made to help stimulate the dermis and epidermis.

Most healthcare providers would tell them to start the program based on their skin type 4-6 weeks before a 3-Step PeelTM to help strengthen their skin and improve the Peel. Again, this Peel is easy to use and can be changed to fit each person’s tolerance level.

What Can The ZO® Retinol Stim Peel (level 2) Do?

Again, as mentioned above, it helps improve acne, melasma, sun damage, fine lines, texture roughness, large pores, and dullness. But besides those factors, here’s the best advantage you can get from the ZO® Retinol Stim Peel.

  • It fits all skin types and colors.
  • Easy peel treatment for every patient
  • No irritation among all other peels
  • A highly effective peel works in two ways to renew the epidermis and stimulate the dermis.
  • It uses a combination of exfoliants, a 6% concentration of retinol, and multi-action agents to improve the skin’s health and treat many signs of aging.
  • It helps the skin’s barrier function and makes it better able to heal and renew itself.
  • It offers protection from free radicals, helps repair DNA, and reduces inflammation.

In general, peels are one of the best ways to treat wrinkles, spots, and damage from the sun. It commonly works on the face but can also be used on other body parts, like the neck and hands.

You can fix and lessen problems like a damaged skin surface, uneven pigmentation, roughness, lines, and wrinkles. They can select these skin problems and improve the skin’s overall health.

Peels do more than remove dead skin. They also stimulate the dermis and epidermis, which helps keep the skin’s functions stable and helps it renew itself. Each treatment is made to help improve and fix many skin problems.

Each patient’s skin condition, lifestyle, and health goal are considered when choosing a treatment.

Is The Treatment Painful?

Usually, peels hurt, but not as much as you think. It’s uncomfortable, but you shouldn’t worry that it will hurt too much to handle.

Your skin health professional can help you build up your tolerance, but you should always be honest with them about what you can and can’t handle.

How Long Does The Treatment Last?

The treatment takes between 20 and 40 minutes, and you might feel slightly tingling. After a peel, your skin will be red and feel dry for one to two days. On the third and fourth days, your dead skin will flake off.

Usually, peeling can last up to a week, and most people will be better in 7 to 10 days. The skin will look healthier, smoother, and tighter. If you need to, you can use one of the following masks after the 3-Step Peel:

  • Aloe Hydra Masque moisturizes and calms the skin.
  • Bio-Sulfur Masque deep cleans pores to reduce oiliness, clogged pores, and irritation.
  • Brightening Masque: This mask helps even out the color of pigmented skin and makes it look brighter.

In addition to your ZO® homecare routine, use the 3-step skin peel system every two to three weeks. The masks are a different way to treat the skin and help it feel better.

Preparation

The truth is, you don’t have to do anything to prepare or take care of your skin in a certain way. You will get better results if you use some ZO products before the treatment.
